Druhá polovina 20. stol. bylo pro anatomickou ilustraci období jak vydávaní řady detailně propracovaných atlasů, učebnic a encyklopedií pro studenty i laickou veřejnost, tak využívání různých forem ilustrace k propagaci a reklamě zdravotnické prevence, lékařství a farmaceutických výrobků. Konec století přinesl i nové metody digitálního zobrazování.

The second half of the 20th century saw the publication of a lot of detailed atlases, handbooks and encyclopaedias for students and the general public, as well as the use of various ways of drawing to raise awareness of health and sanitary precautions and preventative human medicine and pharmaceuticals. The end of the century saw new digital image methods and measures.
