Hostýnské vrchy patří k pohořím flyšových Karpat s typicky vyvinutými lesními společenstvy a polopřirozenými náhradními společenstvy luk a pastvin. Vzhledem k jejich geografické poloze se zde vyskytují společně chladnomilné a teplomilné druhy, druhy s různými areály (submediteránní, karpatský) a také celá řada ohrožených druhů naší květeny.

The Hostýnské Hills belong to the Carpathian Flish Mountains with typically developed forest communities and semi-natural reserve communities of meadows and pastures. Due to their geographical location, both cryophilic and thermophilic species grow there as well as species with different areas of distribution (Sub-Mediterranean and Carpathian) and a number of endangered species of our own flora.
