  3. RNDr. Michal Kloc, PhD. (1989) presented the thesis Quantum phase transitions in systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom defended in September 2018 at the Charles University in Prague
  4. Mgr. Ivan Kolar, PhD. (1990) presented the thesis Spacetime with symmetris in a general dimension defended in July 2019 at the Charles University in Prague
  5. Dr. Alexey A. Melnikov (1989) presented the thesis A physics approach to classical and quantum machine learning with applications in quantum experiment defended in July 2018 at the University of Innsbruck
  6. Dr. Miroslav Rapcak (1991) presented the thesis The vertex algebra vertex defended in July 2019 at the University of Waterloo
  7. Mgr. Stanislav Stefanik, PhD. (1990) presented the thesis Study of high energy cosmic gamma rays defended in June 2019 at the Charles University in Prague
Jury

The verdict

At its closing session on November 30, 2019, the jury decided to award the main prize to for the thesis Small observation changing everything found hard to be an impressive piece of work.

The jury also decided to give a honourable mention to the theses of entitled Quantum, classical and other simulations, an exceptionally well-written and impressive thesis, and entitled Walking around quanta, a thesis containing some results hard to believe.
