Abstract: The study of ecosystems in biology and sociology has
entered into the realm of mathematical science with the introduction of
evolutionary game theory which underpins the Lotka-Volterra nonlinear
population dynamics. I will try to cover the basics of game-theoretic dynamics,
and explain how open and inviting the field is for physisists.
