Mathematica Bohemica

Founded: 1872

Published by: Institute of Mathematics, Czech Academy of Sciences

MATHEMATICA BOHEMICA publishes original research papers of high scientific quality in mathematics. Although under a new title, it is the continuation of the renowned Časopis pro pěstování mathematiky a fysiky (Journal for Cultivation of Mathematics and Physics) founded in 1872. The journal is published quarterly in issues of about 110 pages each. The content is published solely in English. Manuscripts of papers intended for publication should be prepared according to the instructions for authors and submitted through the electronic Journal System, there the authors can chceck the status of their submissions during the peer-review process.

On January 1, 2019 Mathematica Bohemica became an open access journal. Starting with the first issue of volume 144 (2019), all the published content of Mathematica Bohemica including online first papers will be freely available on the website of the Institute of Mathematics, in the Czech Digital Mathematics Library and in the European Digital Mathematics Library without delay.

The journal does not charge any article processing charges or submission charges.

We endorse the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities signed by the Czech Academy of Sciences in 2008. Mathematica Bohemica supports an open access policy according to BOAI. The content of Mathematica Bohemica is published under the Creative Commons public licence CC BY-NC-ND allowing to download, share, and re-use the content provided it is not changed, not used commercially, and the author(s) and the source are properly acknowledged and cited. Authors hold and retain the copyright for their published papers (Licence Agreement).

Mathematica Bohemica will continue to be indexed and abstracted in zbMATH, MathSciNet, EBSCO Discovery Service, and Scopus, as well as in Web of Science within the Emerging Sources Citation Index. The journal will also apply to be accepted to the Directory of Open Access Journals.
