Annotation

Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry (HIPC) is a leading Czech scientific institution, which is the co-researcher on a number of research projects funded from national sources as well as from the European Union.

Therefore, it is a natural effort for the workplace to continuously develop and improve its system of education, recruitment and development of scientists so that it meets all the parameters of the strategic management of the research organization in accordance with the terms of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (C&C).

The purpose of this project is to achieve the basic conditions for the creation of a coherent system of human resources development of the HIPC i.e. research, managerial and technical staff through the HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) tool. The main objective of the HIPC is to obtain and maintain the "HR Award", which will prove the development of the capacities, knowledge and skills of all the staff of the HIPC. By achieving this prestigious European "HR Award" label, the Institute will become more visible and its collaboration with other scientific and research workplaces will be more effective and more accessible.

In the form of a planned, purposeful, training of scientific, managerial and technical staff, their selection, education and their professional growth, HIPC wants to fulfil the criteria of the HS4R. The applicant acknowledges the principles set out in the C&C, and formalizes it within the project by elaborating an internal analysis and defining on its basis the Action Plan for the next five years. Upon granting of the "HR Award", the HIPC envisages the implementation of the approved action plan, the development of the strategic management of the HIPC, which will enable it to fulfil its goals. At the same time, the HIPC is taking advantage of the opportunity and within this project will adjust the internal evaluation and management mechanisms with the clear objective of strengthening its position in the international context.
