Meteorological observatory Dlouhá Louka
Dlouhá Louka observatory is situated in the eastern part of Ore Mountains at altitude of 885 meters above sea level. The observatory belongs to the cadastral area of Osek, district Litvínov.Meteorological mastof lattice construction is located east of the cabin colony in Dlouhá Louka. The site is at the edge of the plateau of Ore Mountains andneighbors the industrial basin of Most. The observatory completes the meteorological stations at Milešovka, located on the opposite site of the basin, and in Kopisty, which lies on its bottom. The total height of the meteorological mast is 51 meters; the measuring platforms are built at height levels of 10, 15, 30 and 48 meters above the ground.
