Scientist / Postdoc position in Bioelectrodynamics research team

At the Bioelectrodynamics research team (Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences), we are looking for a highly motivated researcher for an experimental work focused on exploring the electromagnetic field bioeffects at the biomolecular scale and nano-scale. To that end, you will employ highly advanced single molecule characterization and imaging techniques. Your experimental work will be supported by computational theoretical predictions of your colleagues. Your results will contribute to the development of novel electromagnetic technologies for gentler and more effective biomedicine and bionanotechnology of the future.

 

Requirements: 

  • Experimentally oriented PhD in biophysics, biochemistry, physical chemistry, biomedical engineering, molecular biology, biotechnology, bio-nanomaterials or similar. Strong interest in imaging and microscopy and experience with cytoskeleton proteins is an advantage
  • Very good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-focused environment.
