The Conceptual Design Review of the magnetic diagnostics for the COMPASS-Upgrade tokamak was held in IPP
The Conceptual Design Review (CDR) of the magnetic diagnostics for the COMPASS-Upgrade tokamak was held in IPP Prague in the period of October 7 - 9, 2019.
The CDR panel consisted of leading foreign experts in related fields, chaired by Dr. Edward
Strait from General Atomic (United States of America). The aim of the meeting was to review the
conceptual design of one of key diagnostic systems of the tokamak – the set of magnetic
diagnostics, which will be used for the feedback control of tokamak discharges in real time as well
as for the physics research of plasmas of the COMPASS-Upgrade tokamak.
