Present Employment and Scientific Specialisation
Since 2008 researcher in the history of philosophy,Department for the Study of Ancient and Medieval Thought, Institute of Philosophy, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague.
Since 2008 Secretary of Collegium Europaeum ( www.collegium-europaeum.cz ), Joint Research Group for the History of European Ideas, Faculty of Arts of Charles University & Institute of Philosophy, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague.
His main interest lies in the late medieval scholastic thought, including masters and doctrines at the University of Prague. In the frame of the department, he works as a Postdoctoral Fellow (for example a project on the philosophical thought of Stephen of Páleč) and as a Secretary of Collegium Europaeum. In the latter frame, he had served from 2008 to 2016 as Secretary of symposia The Bohemian Reformation and Religious Practice and coordinated the editorial process of volumes of the same name. In 2014, he defended his doctoral thesis on the thought of Jerome of Prague at Université Paris-Sorbonne and Charles University in Prague. Professors Ruedi Imbach and Vilém Herold (†) supervised the thesis. In 2012, he stayed as a Junior Fellow at the Monumenta Germaniae Historica and as a Visiting Fellow at the Catholic Theological Faculty in Vienna. He continues to cooperate with the IRHT CNRS in Paris.
