At the end of 2018, Photosynthetica was pressed to close one period of its existence under wings of the international giant, Springer Nature, which had arranged our distribution since 1997.
Starting January 2019, Photosynthetica has become an open-access journal with our old, but ever present publisher, Institute of Experimental Botany, ASCR, Prague. We had to switch also from our previous online peer-review system, ScholarOne, into the new one, Actavia.
