The Laboratory of Computational Fluid Dynamics develops its own numerical CFD software and adapts and uses the available open source or commercial CFD codes to study various fluid dynamics problems in applied research. The aim is to create a common numerical framework for different problems of fluid dynamics. The framework components are interoperable and are used to tackle complex problems such as interaction of fluid and solid structures.
