Citizens' attitudes related to the Czech history were surveyd by the Public Opinion Research Centre in October 2019. First, we asked who is regarded as the greatest Czech personality and also which of the selected historical periods is regarded as the greatest one. Similarly, in connection with the 20th century respondents named the three most important events since the end of World War I.

In October survey CVVM focused on the subject of Czech citizens' relationship to the Czech republic. All respondents were asked about reasons, why they are proud of Czech citizenship and why they are not proud of it.

Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

In May 2019 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on issues that could be perceived as morally controversial. Specifically, respondents answered questions concerned with the abortion, euthanasia and prostitution.

In May 2019, CVVM included a block of questions related to tolerance of Czech society towards homosexual oriented men and women into its regular survey Our Society. At the same time, there were questions focused on the attitudes of citizens whether homosexual people should have certain rights: right to enter into a registered partnership, to marry, to adopt children from "institutions" - so-called children's homes, and to adopt the children of their partner. The highest support has gained the right to enter into a registered partnership – 75 % of respondents stated that homosexuals should have this right. We also asked whether respondents have some homosexual people among their friends or acquaintances. According to our research, 39 % of Czech citizens have homosexual friends. On the other hand, 50 % of respondents said they have none.

April survey of CVVM focused on public attitude and public relationships between Czech population and Romany minority. Survey showed that almost three quarters of Czech citizens (72%) see living together of Romany and non-Romany population as bad in Czech Republic generally.

In the March survey the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic posed to all respondents a question: "How satisfied are you with your life? Are you very satisfied, rather satisfied, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, rather dissatisfied, very dissatisfied?"

68% of Czech citizens are satisfied with their life, 9% are dissatisfied, and 23% are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.

March survey has dealt with a topic of employment of foreigners in Czech Republic. 49 % of Czechs think it is right to employ foreigners, 41 % express the opposite view. Support to employment of foreigners grows with degree of completed education and also with improving evaluation of living standard of respondent's household.

In March 2019 Public Opinion Research Centre focused on social distance among the majority population and different social groups. Social distance was measured by a specific question: people should pick from a list of 15 different groups those, which they would not like to have as neighbours.
