On May 30, 2016, the Otto Wichterle Award 2016 was given by the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, prof. Jiří Drahoš.
Jiří Drahoš awarded twenty young scientists who have successfully fulfilled an important scientific task. Among awarded scintists was also Dr. Michael Komm from the COMPASS Tokamak.
