The Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences is a basic research institute whose long-term mission is twofold:
To perform research reflecting current trends in theory and applications of computer science with aspirations to co-determine the trends.
To transfer the respective knowledge to society or, more specifically, to scientific community, to students, and to R&D application domains.
The role of the International Advisory Board is to provide ongoing consultancy to the Institute on its research activities. The first meeting was held on November 13, 2019.
Ústav informatiky Vás v rámci festivalu Týden vědy a techniky AV ČR zve na Den otevřených dveří, který se koná 14. listopadu 2019 od 9 do 12 hodin.
Ústav informatiky uspořádal každoroční výjezdní zasedání svých pracovníků ve dnech 4.- 6. 9. 2019 na Jizerce.
