CERGE-EI is happy to announce that the third season of the succesful Projects in Applied Economics for Talented High School Students will take place from September to December 2018 on its premises.
This free program is designed for high school students who wish to gain a deeper understanding of economics, learn and apply research methodology, and pursue their own research project supervised by experienced academics.
"The growing interest in the program is surprising even for us. The students are very motivated, so the completion rate is high, even though the level is rather difficult. Some schools are developing the project results further, and participants' feedback is overwhelmingly positive,“ said program coordinator, Filip Pertold. "Students appreciate the opportunity to work in a real academic environment. They also look at economic topics from different angles, which usually differs from their clasroom experience,“ he added.
The program is supported by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports. The working language is English.
Students may register until May 31, 2018 (the admission results will be published by the end of June). A summary from last year is available here.
