Filip Matějka is an Associate Professor with tenure at CERGE-EI (under US permanent charter) since June 2016 (previously an Assistant Professor since 2011), and a member of the Executive and Supervisory Committee of CERGE-EI since July 2016. He is also a Docent (Associate Professor) at CERGE, Charles University since October 2018 (Assistant Professor 2011-2018) and a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2010. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in applied mathematics from Princeton University in 2007 and 2010. He graduated from Charles University in Physics in 2004.
