Spring Semester in the Economics Discovery Hub starts from February
2 February, 2018
Make 2018 a year when you acquire new skills. The Economics Discovery Hub’s spring semester commences in February. Choose from our free courses and workshops that are practical and will give you a competitive advantage on the job market.
Registration deadlines are approaching fast so register today!
· Building Shiny Apps (Tuesdays at 17:00, 13 February - 6 March)
· Introduction to Machine Learning with Python (Thursdays at 17:00, 15 February - 8 March)
· Practical Workshop: How to Design a Successful Economics Experiment (Wednesday, 28 February at 17:00)
· Neural Networks and Deep Learning (Tuesdays at 17:00, 20 March - 10 April)
We are preparing more courses and workshops for you. You can look forward to learning about IFRS 9, the use of R in finance, Stata, and more. Check our Facebook or webpage for the latest updates.
The activities are in English and usually take place at CERGE-EI (Politických vězňů 7, Prague 1).
The Economics Discovery Hub (EDH) is a free exploratory platform for student development brought to you by CERGE-EI graduate programs. The EDH offers free high-quality extra-curricular education in a small-group format, welcoming talented high school and university students curious about economics and/or data science. The objective of the EDH is on student development in Applied Data Science, Economics, and Soft Skills.The Economics Discovery Hub activities are very popular: in Fall 2017 we welcomed more than 190 students to our workshops and courses from almost 300 students who registered.
Our activities are offered for free due to the generosity of the Economics Discovery Hub partners – Deloitte, EY, and RSJ.
