Double recognition for Prof. Švejnar, chairman of the ESC at CERGE-EI

We are pleased to announce that on December 4 Prof. Jan Švejnar received the title of Honorary Senator at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia from the rector of the University of Ljubljana, Prof. Igor Papič.
Prof. Švejnar received the title of Honorary Senator for his exceptional contribution to the international standing of the University of Ljubljana and to strengthening the research potential and achievements in the field of economics.
On December 15 Prof. Jan Švejnar was awarded as Distinguished Honorary Fellow of the Year for 2018 by the European International Business Academy (EIBA) during the EIBA conference "International Business in a Transforming World – the Changing Role of States and Firms", which took place on December 13-15 in Poznań, Poland.
EIBA is the leading professional association in Europe for academics, business people, and others with an interest in international business. It has the aim of fostering excellence in this area of research. The Distinguished Honorary Fellow of the Year is awarded annually to leading figures whose work is germane to international business research.
