Two of Three Young Economists of the Year are from CERGE-EI

We are proud to announce that this year’s "Young Economist of the Year" competition was again a great success for CERGE-EI, with the two of the top three prizes awarded to CERGE-EI students.
Ludmila Matysková won the first prize for her paper "Bayesian Persuasion with Costly Information Acquisition". Matěj Bělín came third with "Time-invariant Regressors under Fixed Effects: Identification via a Proxy Variable".
The annual competition, which is organized by the Czech Economic Society, seeks to identify and award the most talented young students of economics.
