MAE Class of 2019 Successfully Completed Their Studies

On Thursday 25th of July the Graduation Ceremony of the Masters in Applied Economics (MAE) program took place.
An introduction of the graduating class by Program Director Eva Hromádková was followed by inspirational speeches by the Acting Director of CERGE-EI Sergey Slobodyan and President of the CERGE-EI Foundation Prof. Randall Filer.
Professor Hromádková also praised the fresh graduates for their determination, and stressed how all of them worked hard to finish the studies and become data-driven changemakers.
"I am looking forward to watching you use your skills and knowledge to improve your lives and the lives of people around you," she said.
Student representative Roman Potěšil concluded the ceremony with a funny yet heartwarming speech that was real proof that the 2019 MAE graduates stand out from the crowd.
We congratulate our new MAE graduates and wish them all the best for the future.
