Ondřej Rydval has served as Deputy Director for Administration of CERGE, Charles University, and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences (EI) since September 2013, and a Vice-Chairman of EI's Supervisory Board since May 2017. He has also been a Researcher at both CERGE and EI since January 2013. He was Deputy Director for Development and PR from November 2012 through August 2013. Prior to that, he was a Research Associate at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Jena, Germany (2007-2012), as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2007-2012) and a Junior Researcher (2004-2007) at EI. Ondřej received his B.A. Hons in Economics from the University of Cambridge in 2001, M.A. in Economics from CERGE-EI in 2003, and Ph.D. in Economics from CERGE-EI in 2007.
