Dialogo della musica: Namen sind Schall und Rauch? Salonkultur im 19. Jahrhundert

On Tuesday 17 December another lecture from the series Dialogo della musica will take place. This time Anja Bunzel (IAH CAS) and Melanie Unseld (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien) will talk on "Namen sind Schall und Rauch? Salonkultur im 19. Jahrhundert". The lecture starts at 4.30 pm at the lecture theathre of the IAH CAS, Husova 4, room no. 117. The lecture will be in German.

"Stanislav Sucharda 1866–1916: Creative Process"

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition "Stanislav Sucharda 1866–1916: Creative Process" which will take place on Thursday 14 November 2019 at 7 pm at the Trade Fair Palace ("Veletržní Palace"). The author of the exhibition is Martin Krummholz (IAH CAS). This first comprehensive presentation of Sucharda’s mostly unknown work is the outcome of the joint project Footprints of Work: The Legacy of Great Sculptors of the First Half of the 20th Century. The Conservation and Care of Plaster Sculptures (NAKI, DG16P02B052) carried out by the Faculty of Restoration of Pardubice University and the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, which researched Sucharda’s unique estate.

A co-lecture of Milada Jonášová (IAH CAS) and Manfred Hermann Schmid (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen), scheduled in the series Dialogo della musica to 19 November 2019 has to be canceled because of the illness of one of the presenters.
