Characteristic:
Department includes Archives of the Institute, Library, and Bibliographic Information Department. The department is engaged in administration of the above-mentioned sections and in development of methods of keeping and processing of scientific information. Among the pivot projects of the department belong e.g. Archeological database of Bohemia (ADČ), Digital archive of the Czech archaeology, bibliographic databases, and preparation of a serie Výzkumy v Čechách/Excavations in Bohemia.
