Representatives of CERGE-EI make up one-third of the governmental Economic Advisory Team in the Czech Republic. The main task of the twelve-member advisory body is to recommend measures to mitigate the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the country.
The IDEA think tank at CERGE-EI has received an extraordinary donation of half a million crowns from the Experientia Foundation for the ‘IDEA anti Covid-19' project.
Many CERGE-EI faculty members, students, and alumni are actively involved on the IDEA anti COVID-19 project run by the IDEA think tank. Since its launch earlier this month, the project itself and studies it has published have received significant coverage in the relevant Czech media.
The deadline for submitting applications for our study programs has been postponed until 30 April. This change also applies for the New Economic Talent competition.
