The President of CAS started the second round of visits to the workplaces by visiting the TOPTEC Center and the Laboratory of Plasma Technologies
The President of CAS Eva Zažímalová opened the second round of visits to workplaces of CAS. On February 14, 2020 Eva Zažímalová visited the TOPTEC Centre in Turnov and the Laboratory of Plasma Technologies in Letňany. Two workplaces of IPP.
Executive Director of the TOPTEC Centre Dr. Vít Lédl briefly introduced research activities
and current projects. TOPTEC currently cooperates with renowned foreign institutions and companies
such as the European Space Agency, Airbus, Siemens or Eltodo. Research and development of
ultra-precise and special optics. From Turnov, the president's delegation headed to the Laboratory
of Plasma Technologies in Letňany, which was established in 2012.
