The international conference “Conceptual and Methodological Aspects of Biomedical Research” aims to address topics in basic biological and biomedical research as well as translational research. This also includes reflections on particular diseases and/or therapies.

We invite submissions from philosophers, biomedical researchers and medical doctors on any topic pertaining to any area of biomedical research (with the exception of bioethics). Possible topics include (but are not limited to):

- Conceptual exploration of biological and medical phenomena (e.g., ageing)

- Evidence and evidence-based medicine

- Health care and science policy
