According to the March survey of CVVM, 45% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 36% view it as neither good nor bad, and 17% consider it to be bad.

In January 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre investigated, how Czech citizens evaluate material living conditions of their households and economic situation in the Czech Republic. During January 201á comparable surveys on this theme were carried out also in Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia.

According to the February survey of CVVM, 45% of people evaluate the current economic situation in the Czech Republic as good, 36% view it as neither good nor bad, and 16% consider it to be bad.

38% of people believe that for the income of their household they can buy or pay less than a year ago, 48% believe that the real income of their households is about the same as a year before, and 12% of respondents said that their real income during the last year has increased.

In the January survey the Public Opinion Research Centre examined two questions related to evaluation of material living conditions of respondent's households, and to expectation of development of these conditions in this year.

In January 2018 Public Opinion Research Centre carried out a survey about debts and loans. In this press release are published attitudes of Czech citizens to debts of common people. In this text there are also published attitudes of Czechs to individual debts, e.g. acceptability of loans for real estate, education, consumption, car, holidays or for starting a business. Another question was focused on importance of financial resources for unexpected expenses and difficulties with the repayment of debts.

In January 2018, the Public Opinion Research Centre investigated views on the problem of indebtment. We surveyed the opinion on the level of indebtment among the Czech citizens and on the level of indebtment of the Czech state. With regard to these two fields of indebtment, we also asked questions about how serious a problem the current level of indebtment poses to the Czech people.
