Characteristics:
The basis of the laboratory’s work is the conservation and restoration of archaeological objects. Archaeological excavations produce a broad spectrum of objects, from organic materials through glass, earthenware, amber and wood, to products made from different metals. Every material requires specific methods and therefore the department is divided into several basic workplaces.
