Přehled výzkumů is a scientific peer-reviewed journal published since 1956. The first section presents original archaeological research of extra-regional significance with a focus on Central Europe. The second section presents a comprehensive summary of research reports from all licensed archaeological organizations in Moravia and Silesia. Since 2011 this journal is published twice a year with separate emphases on prehistory (1), Middle Ages and modern times (2). The journal is also available online. Přehled výzkumů is registered in the European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH) and is on the list of peer-reviewed periodicals published in the Czech Republic. Since February 2018, the Přehled výzkumů journal has been included in the Scopus database of journals, indexed here from year 58.
