The research specifically examined reasoning of voters and non-voters behind their decision to take part in the elections or to abstain from them. The survey also examined the time of their decision, and among voters it explored closeness of their relations to the respective parties, which they vote for.

As a part of March survey, CVVM examined views of Czechs on importance of different kind of elections. Citizens in the survey attributed the most importance to municipal elections, presidential elections and elections to the Chamber od Deputies. As the least important was seen coming European Parliament election.
