Professor Štěpán Jurajda has been awarded the Gold Medal of Charles University for his contribution to the development of CERGE-EI. The Medal and Diploma were handed over by the rector of Charles University Tomáš Zima on Tuesday, 1 July.
A black flag to mark the Memorial Day of the Victims of the Communist Regime was hanging on the walls of Schebek Palace this Friday, and Saturday. CERGE-EI was joining the symbolism that took place all around the Czech Republic.
Professor Štěpán Jurajda will speak on the "Economic crisis on the horizon. And what's next?", in a webinar organized by the discussion platform of Charles University's "Česko! A jak dál?". The event takes place on Thursday, 25 June, and will be streamed via Zoom and Facebook.
Three second-year students have been awarded Research Fellowships sponsored by the RSJ Foundation. The evaluation committee selected Marta Cota, Artem Razumovskii and Sona Badalyan as this year's winners.
