Education:
- Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Charles University, specialization: applied mathematics; finished in 1984 with RNDr. Diploma theses: Numerical solution of Navier-Stokes equations.
- PhD theses: „Analyses on a limited area“ defended at the Department of Meteorology and Environment Protection, part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University (KMOP MFF UK) in Prague in 1993.
- In 2007 habilitated at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Charles University.
