Minister of Finance Alena Schillerová visited the TOPTEC Center on July 23, 2020. In addition to the TOPTEC Center, the Minister visited a number of other interesting projects and companies. The event was marked by meetings and debates with Czech companies and their employees in the Liberec Region.

The PALS laser system is celebrating 20 years
At the end of the 1990s, the unique terawatt iodine laser system Asterix IV developed and built at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching was moved to Prague. On Thursday, June 8, 2000, the PALS laser system delivered the first short laser pulses with an energy of up to 1000 J.
