V roce 2012 vyšel v časopise Preslia Seznam cévnatých rostlin květeny České republiky a současně i třetí vydání Červeného seznamu cévnatých rostlin květeny České republiky. O něco dříve bylo tamtéž pod názvem Nepůvodní flóra České republiky: aktualizace seznamu druhů, taxonomická diverzita a průběh invazí uveřejněno druhé vydání seznamu zavlečených rostlin naší květeny. Článek propojuje údaje z citovaných seznamů a podává základní číselné údaje o druhovém bohatství naší květeny, podílu zavlečených druhů a míře jejího ohrožení. Ukazuje také, že tyto počty v sobě skrývají různá úskalí, která je nutno mít na paměti, pokud chceme s těmito čísly dále pracovat.

In 2012, three lists of vascular plants were published in Preslia, the journal of the Czech Botanical Society, including Checklist of Vascular Plants of the Czech Republic, the third edition of the Red List of Vascular Plants of the CR and the second edition of the Catalogue of Alien Plants of the CR. The information from these three lists is summarised, and basic numbers about the taxonomic diversity of the Czech flora, the share of native and alien spe­cies as well as the numbers of extinct and en­dangered species are given. These numbers are based on many assumptions and arbitrary solutions, also explained in the article, which must be considered to avoid pitfalls and mistakes if the reported numbers are used for different comparisons.
