Students From 17 Countries Taking Part in the Online "Prep"

This year’s Preparatory semester started on July 13, with 32 participants from 17 countries worldwide. Most of them had to join us online, but the distance and challenges of the virtual learning environment have not deterred them from working hard and join us for the Fall semester, hopefully already in person.

People of CERGE-EI: Meet Our Alumni

Our alumnus Maxim Goryunov spoke about his recent interest in testing economic theories with laboratory experiments in an interview for the CERGE-EI blog. Maxim, who graduated in 2016, told us how he got from Prague to Florence and Astana, and revealed a bit about his future plans.

Paolo Zachia's Research Project Recommended for Primus Grant by Charles University

The Charles University Research Board recommended Paolo Zacchia's proposal, (Mis)matching to Suppliers in the Production Network: A New Framework for the Analysis of Industrial Policy, for funding from 2021 in the fifth round of the PRIMUS Research Programme.

Students of Applied Economics Showcased Results of Project Seminar

The Master in Applied Economics (MAE) students have successfully completed the Project Seminar and presented the results of their work. Both teams have proven the ability to apply the skills they gained during their studies to come up with effective solutions to real business problems.
