Immigrants in large Czech cities 2008–2015: the analysis of changing residential patterns using population grid data – This article contributes to the discussion of the segregation of immigrants by presenting evidence from a new destination country of international migration. It explores residential patterns of immigrants, defined by citizenship, and their development in selected large Czech cities. The analysis is focused on six main immigrant groups.

This article details our attempts at making sense of an ostalgic heterotopic space. We relay here our analysis of staying in and exploring a disused air raid shelter built during WWII, converted into a fallout shelter at the beginning of the Cold War and recently repurposed in an anti-communist museum/tourist hotel/ostalgic canteen called 10Z Bunker.

Každoroční statistický přehled situace a vývoje v oblasti postavení žen v české vědě včetně mezinárodního srovnání ukazuje, že situace se sama od sebe pozitivním směrem nemění, naopak lze konstatovat mírně negativní tendence, tedy pokles zastoupení žen v nejvýznamnějších oblastech. V Evropě patříme mezi nejhorší.

Přestěhování se z rodné země do jiné, v některých případech velmi geograficky vzdálené, přináší řadu aspektů, které jsou majoritní populaci neznámé a často jen těžko představitelné.
This research study aimed to identify and analyse attitudes of Czech primary school pupils toward people with intellectual disabilities (ID). In total 2295 pupils aged 10 to 15 years participated in the study. The questionnaire based on the Likert scale design was utilised as the research tool. Its items were divided into four dimensions (interpersonal liking; social status and rights of people with ID; social integration; fear) using the explorative factor analysis.
Odborná monografie je koncipována jako teoreticko-výzkumná studie, která se zabývá dosud marginálně řešenou tematikou prekoncepcí intaktních žáků o mentálním postižení. Cílem studie bylo v teoretické rovině stručně vymezit koncept mentálního postižení a akcentovat proměnu paradigmatu současného vzdělávání se zřetelem na integraci a inkluzi. Zvláštní pozornost byla také věnována teoreticko-epistemologickým východiskům prekoncepcí a současnému stavu vědeckého poznání v dané oblasti.
