ELIXIR CZ – Czech National Infrastructure for Biological Data

IOCB Prague is a coordinating institution of the ELIXIR CZ, the Czech node of the intergovernmental organization ELIXIR. ELIXIR has 23 members and brings together life science resources from across Europe. These resources include databases, software tools, training materials, cloud storage, and supercomputers.

ELIXIR's goal is to help researchers take advantage of the huge amounts of data produced in life science and gain new insights into how living organisms work in health and disease.

Thanks to ELIXIR researchers can more easily find, analyze and share data, exchange expertise, and implement best practices.

The Elixir CZ is managed by the Bioinformatics Group led by Jiří Vondrášek.
