Vasily Korovkin is an Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI (under US permanent charter). He is also an Assistant Professor at CERGE, Charles University, and a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences starting September 2018. He received his B.Sc. in Economics from Moscow State University (2010), his M.A. degree in Economics from the New Economic School in Moscow (2012), and his Ph.D. in Global Economics and Management from the UCLA Anderson School of Management (2018).

Research orientation: industrial organization, political economy, and development economics.
