Minister of Finance Alena Schillerová visited the TOPTEC Center on July 23, 2020. In addition to the TOPTEC Center, the Minister visited a number of other interesting projects and companies. The event was marked by meetings and debates with Czech companies and their employees in the Liberec Region.
In the last few years, scientists and engineers from the TOPTEC Center have been involved, for example, in the design of the ESA spacecraft - NASA Solar Orbiter, which launched the Sun exploration in February 2020. The TOPTEC Centre also collaborating on the construction of an asteroid searching system around the Earth, constructing a spectrograph telescope for satellite photosynthesis research on a global scale and also modernizing the largest Czech telescope, Perek´s Telescope at the Astronomical Institute in Ondřejov.
