Hromadný nález denárů z konce 10. století z Chýště
Denier hoard dating back to the end of the 10th century and found in Chýšť
The denier hoard found in 2015 near the Chýšť village, Czech Republic (Pardubice district), is a complete and extraordinarily numerous group. The analysis of its contents makes it possible to better document the work of mints in Prague and Vyšehrad at the close of the reign of Boleslav II (972–999). The find significantly adds to our knowledge of the state of Czech society and character of the economic processes taking place at the end of 10th century, a period preceding a deep crisis of the Czech state.
