- Solar-terrestrial interaction and near space processes
- Upper atmosphere and ionosphere dynamics
- Wave processes in ionosphere by total electron content satellite measurements.
- Total electron content variations related to different geophysical phenomena (e.g. solar terminator movement, earthquakes shocks, magnetic storms, etc.) and generation mechanisms of such disturbances.
- Satellite-based methods of near-space investigation
