She graduated with a degree in Archaeology from the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno, where she continued in her postgraduate studies from 2005. Since 2006 she has worked as a specialist for the Institute of Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Brno. She participates in the field activities of the detached workplace in Dolní Dunajovice focusing particularly on the Roman fort of Hradisko u Mušova.
She specialises in archaeology of the Roman Period, concentrating primarily on settlement in the 2nd-3rd centuries and the material culture of the Roman Period with respect to pottery products of domestic provenance and Roman imports.
