Abstract:
The proposed project concerns research and development of a new type super-fast laser spectrometer based on MID-IR diode heterostructure lasers and high-speed photodiodes for the spectral range 2-5 microm. This would be accomplished by utilising recent infrared laser techniques and by the development of technical and electronic devices which involve the fast tunibility, high frequency modulation of the lasers including the computer acquisition programs. The new fast tuning methods will be applied for the extensive precise high resolution infrared study in molecular spectroscopy and spectroscopy of unstable species with a short life time. Specially the TiF+ and TiCl+, bands which fits to our interval of our lasers.
