The first two questions were concerned with interest of respondents about information connected with the environment. The second two questions probed activities of respondents and households focused on environment, for example waste separation or shopping of organic food.

In May within the regular research the Centre for Public Opinion Research focused on the environment. Representatives of the Czech population answered questions on particular environmental phenomena in the sense of their problematic character. As the most serious problems were stated the garbage cumulation (for 92 % “very” + “quite” serious problem), the drinking water pollution (92 %) and the drinking water deprivation (90 %).

The most positive relation was observed to Czechs, Slovaks, and Poles, the worst relation have Czechs to Arabs and Roma people.

March survey has dealt with a topic of employment of foreigners in Czech Republic. 34 % of Czechs think it is right to employ foreigners, 57 % express the opposite view. Support to employment of foreigners grows with degree of completed education and also with improving evaluation of living standard of respondent's household.
