SOLAIR 2020

The Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences organizes in cooperation with UNCITRAL, the Government Office of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Microsoft, the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Justice of Japan, and the Japan International Dispute Resolution Center the international conference SOLAIR 2020. The conference is organized under the auspices of the president of the Czech Academy of Sciences, prof. Eva Zažímalová, State of Israel – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel.

The title of this year’s conference is “Fundamental Rights and Values in the Digital Age”.

The conference will also host a parallel online workshop “Dispute Settlement in the Digital Economy”.

In the journal Právník (5/2020) was published the article Dienstbier, Jakub – Derka Viktor – Horák, Filip: Constitutionality of Emergency Measures under the Public Health Protection Act. The article answers four consecutive research questions concerning the problems of the regulation regarding emergency government.
