Excavations in Bohemia (formerly Bulletin of the Rescue Department, hence – in Czech – BZO, an abbreviation which is still in use). The publication comprises short reports about archeological excavations and finds in Bohemia and has appeared at annual or bi-ennial intervals since 1963. The contents summarizes data which reached the Institute of Archeology during the relevant period. From volume 1988/89 (published in 1992) it has been an automatically edited extract from the archeological database of Bohemia, which is also, to a certain extent, supplemented by illustrations and site plans. Retrospective regional lists of data (for example the Strakonice region 1994-98 in the volume 1998, published 2000 ), are published within the framework of the BZO and ,on occasion, bodies of data from completed fieldwork projects (for example the surface survey of the Vinořského stream basin from 1986-90 in volume 1996-97, published 1998). Most of the older volumes can be bought in the Institute of Archeology in Prague.

An occasionally published volume, concentrated on the archaeology of Middle Ages. Studies and monographs produces in cooperation with other Central European institutions.

Příležitostně pořádaný sborník zaměřený na archeologii středověku. Ve spolupráci různých středoevropských institucí přináší články, studie i monografie.

The journal Památky Archeologické first occurred in 1854. The Journal generally publishes longer original scientific works of supra-regional significance from the fields of archaeology and related scientific disciplines, along with critical and informative reviews of publications with a similar thematic orientation.

The journal Památky archeologické is indexed and abstracted in Arts and Humanities Citation Index® (Web of Science®) and it is also indexed or abstracted in SCOPUS, ERIH PLUS, EBSCO and Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory.

Termín uzávěrky pro přijetí příspěvků pro Památky archeologické CXIII (113) 2022 je 30. září 2021.

Časopis Památky archeologické byl založen v roce 1854. Zveřejňuje zejména rozsáhlejší původní vědecké práce nadregionálního významu z oboru archeologie a příbuzných vědních oborů a kritické i informativní recenze publikací s obdobným tematickým zaměřením.

Časopis Památky archeologické je zařazen do databáze Arts and Humanities Citation Index® (Web of Science®) a dále je uváděn v mezinárodních citačních indexech a databázích SCOPUS, ERIH PLUS, EBSCO a Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory.

Supplementa jsou neperiodickou řadou vydávanou redakcí časopisu Památky archeologické. V letech 1995-2005 byl v rámci této řady vydáván mezinárodní sborník Ruralia I-V.
