Abstract: Discrete Variable Representation (DVR) method is a numerical method for solving the bound-state problem of the Schrödinger equation. Derivation of the method is provided, and its advantages and disadvantages are discussed. Computer implementation of the DVR method is applied to model one-dimensional and two-dimensional problems.
