In October 2016 the Public Opinion Research Centre included into its regular survey a few questions concerning so-called Islamic State.

In October 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to accepting refugees from countries affected by military conflicts. Questions focused mainly on opinion towards accepting refugees from concrete regions (Ukraine, Middle East and North Africa), concern with the current situation around refugees and perception of the situation as a security threat. In October 2016 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to TTIP contract between EU and USA. Next were respondents asked about CETA contract between EU and Canada.

In its regular October survey the Public Opinion Research Centre focused on the topic of the US presidential election. Interest in the US presidential election show more than two-fifths (42%) of the Czech public, almost three fifths (57%) do not care about this topic. According to more than two fifths of Czech citizens (43%) should Hillary Clinton become the next president of the United States, 13% of the Czech citiziens prefers Donald Trump.
