ICPF received project under TAČR Kappa call for development of new environmentally acceptable lubricants

We have received project REAL – Novel Routes for cost effective Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants under the Kappa programme of Technology Agency of the CR, that is focused on applied research. REAL project aims at developing of new production paths for affordable green lubricants as replacement of mineral oils for example in marine shipping industry, that are sources of high pollution. The project follows two development strategies, the first focuses on rapeseed oil treatment and the second employs suitable microorganisms for production of microbial lubricants.

The REAL project consortium consists of ICPF, BIONA JERSÍN company, VSB-Technical University Ostrava and SINTEF (Norway).
